Big-Game Tarpon Fishing Excursion in Tampa
Join us on a big-game tarpon fishing excursion with a knowledgeable guide who knows the scene like it’s his own backyard. Tarpon is not always an easy catch, but your captain works hard to try to find them and get them to bite. The Tarpon is a bucket list fish for a majority of all anglers, due to their majestical presence and willingness to put up quite a show while being caught. These fish start to show up pretty good around May through July while they migrate up our Gulf Coast beaches stopping inside Bays and Passes to grab a meal or two before heading offshore to spawn during the Full Moon phases in summertime.
All Salty Gillz charters are ran out of a Black Jack 224 center console boat, which makes for a great fishing vessel to find the fish shallow or deep. Also rigged with the necessary electronics to stay on top of the fish for your fishing trip on Tampa Bay.
Tackle, rods, and reels are provided as needed. Please notify us when booking your trip if you are going to bring your own equipment. There is a cooler on board, and ice is also provided.
*All rates are based for up to 2 anglers for this option. Any additional anglers added for this excursion are 50 dollars each, up to two more can be added.
