He runs flats and bay fishing trips in the Tampa Bay and the surrounding parts such as Clearwater, St Petersburg, Saftey Harbor, and Oldsmar areas. Usually, flats fishing catches consist of redfish, trout, and snook. Many species are more prevalent depending on the weather and season. Some of the other species we see most frequently while bay fishing in the area includes Tarpon, Cobia, Shark, Snapper, Grouper, Mackerel, Pompano, Sheepshead, Triple Tail, and Flounder. Tampa Bay has some of the best flats fishing to offer because of its clear water in which it receives from off the Gulf of Mexico. This makes Tampa and its surrounding areas, such as St. Petersburg, Oldsmar, Safety Harbor, Ruskin, and Clearwater, Florida a wonder place to fish with its numerous estuaries and endless mangrove lines.
